Yarmouth Dennis Waste Water Treatment Building – photovoltaic solar array (shown on the right). The system was designed by Waterline Alternative Energies as a PPA agreement.
This renewable energy investment will save the town $33,000 in utility expenses in the first year alone. The taxpayers in Yarmouth will be the beneficiary of these savings. Click here to see the lifetime and daily generation of kWh.

Outreach for Solar Photovoltaic Installation at the Dennis-Yarmouth Regional School District
On May 28th and 29th the Dennis-Yarmouth Regional School District held public information meetings to provide information and answer questions on seven CVEC (Cape & Vineyard Electric Company) solar systems planned for the Dennis-Yarmouth Regional Schools (DY Regional High School, Mattacheese Middle School, Marguerite E. Small School, Ezra H. Baker School and Nathaniel H. Wixon Middle School.
The solar photovoltaic (PV) installations will be provided by the Cape & Vineyard Electric Cooperative (CVEC) at no cost to the towns or to the DY Schools. The savings in electrical costs from the renewable energy installations at DY Schools is estimated at $195,000 in year one alone.
