Routine Foot Care     > Accepting New Clients < Routine Foot Care  is scheduled monthly at our Center.  Diabetics must see an MD/Podiatrist.  Service provided by licensed nurse, and each appointment is 30 minutes at $30.00. The next two month’s appointments are Tuesday, September 5th & October 10th, Thursday, September 7th & 14th and October 12th.  Arrangements may be scheduled for home visits for $50.00. The Yarmouth Senior Center and VNA Hospice bereavement support program are pleased to offer a supportive environment, share with others who are
also grieving, and learn new coping strategies. This ongoing, confidential, bi-monthly group is open to anyone who has lost a loved one through death. It is 
facilitated by Nancy Higgins, LICSW, Bereavement Counselor, VNA Hospice. The group will meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month from 11:00 AM- 12:30 PM.  If you have any specific questions about this group, please call Nancy Higgins, LICSW, at 508-957-7715.

Alzheimer’s Support Group
Wednesday, September 20th and October 18th @ 4:30 PM Cognitive diseases affect one out of nine Americans over the age of 65. Personality and behavioral changes leave families at a loss as to how to help their loved ones and themselves. These changes, that can occur over a long
period of time, are what differentiate dementia from other age-related diseases. This group will help families develop better coping strategies, learn more about dementia, and
help connect to support services in the community. This group is for adult children caring for aging parents, spouses, or anyone caring for a loved one with dementia.

We maintain a rotating supply of medical equipment
to borrow.
Equipment must be inspected, MUST Be Clean and in excellent condition.
We only accept donations of adjustable canes, rolling walkers with seats (rollators), shower chairs, transfer benches and wheelchairs

Attention Dads and Grand Dads

 - Eric Hauck will host Lower/Outer Cape Dads’ Talk (usually the first Wednesday each month) at the Harwich Community Center from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. There's always free dinner and child care for those who need it. The Community Center is at 100 Oak Street in Harwich. I highly recommend attending this group. Alienated Grandparents Anonymous, Inc. (AGA) Cape Cod Area Support Group -- 2nd Wednesday of Each Month at 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM. Barnstable Sr. Center, 825 Falmouth Road, Hyannis. AGA provides information & support to grandparents who feel alienated or estranged from access to their grandchildren. The Open Enrollment Period (Oct 15 – Dec 7, 2017) for Medicare
Advantage Plans (Part C) and Prescription Drug Plans (Part D)
will be here before you know it, and it is very important to
re-evaluate your Medicare options for 2018 during this period.
Each year Medicare plans can change premiums, deductibles,
co-pays and the prescription formulary (list of drugs they cover).
In addition, Medicare Advantage Plans (HMOs, PPOs) often add
and/or drop primary and specialty physicians, skilled nursing
facilities and hospitals.
Your current plan is required to notify you by September 30th of
any changes for the coming year. This letter is called the Annual
Notice of Coverage (ANOC) - please make sure you review it. If
you decide to stay with your current plan, there is no further action
required. If you switch your Medicare Advantage (Part C) or
Medicare Prescription Drug (Part D) Plan during the Open
Enrollment Period, it will take effect January 1, 2018 (Please
note - this enrollment period may not affect you if you have retiree
