Overview
The staff from both the Harbormaster Department and Natural Resources Division respond to Search and Rescue (SAR) cases year round.
In order to execute the most thorough SAR response possible, officers work with the United States Coast Guard, local police, and state police.
The Harbormaster department also works jointly with local marine salvage companies to ensure that any environmental impact is kept to a minimum.
