COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG)
PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE CURRENT CDBG ACTION PLAN
The Town of Yarmouth intends to amend its current Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Annual Action Plan (PY22 AAP) as in the following way:
- Increase the amount listed in AP-15 Expected Resources as Prior Year Resources by $10,000 to a new total of $220,000 to more accurately reflect current resources available, and to allocate the $10,000 to Affordable Housing. The new Expected Amount Available shall total to $351,218.
- Modify the AP-35 Projects Funding As Follows:

Any questions or comments concerning the above-described amendments should be submitted in writing to Mary Waygan, Affordable Housing/CDBG Program Administrator, Department of Community Development, mwaygan@yarmouth.ma.us, 1146 Route 28, South Yarmouth, MA 02664 within the thirty (30) comment period that begins with the publication of this notice in the newspaper on February 3, 2023.
On or after February 16, 2023 the Town of Yarmouth will submit a request to the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for the release of funds under Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 (PL-93-383), to undertake the following programs and activities:
Program: Affordable Housing
Program Allocation: $282,041
Program Activities:
- Affordable housing rehabilitation with a budget of $118,696
- Affordable housing acquisition and down payment assistance with a budget of $163,345
Any individual, group, or agency may submit written comments on the ERR to the Town of Yarmouth, Department of Community Development, 1146 Route 28, South Yarmouth, MA 02664. All comments received by February 15, 2023 will be considered by the Town of Yarmouth prior to authorizing submission of a request for release of funds.

DRAFT 2023 ACTION PLAN WILL BE AVAILALBE ON FEB 24, 2023
The draft Annual One-Year Action Plan for PY2023 will be available as of February 24, 2023.
