Site Plan Review is required for most new businesses and for commercial properties that anticipate a change to the:

Site Plan Review is a staff function, and has limited authority in matters of zoning issues. The Building Commissioner determines if a project requires a review and can assist you with the application process. Site Plan Review is composed of representatives from many town departments including: Building, Health, Planning, Fire, Conservation, Engineering, and others when applicable. This process allows applicants to present their plans in one setting to many town departments and receive feedback as to how to potentially proceed with a project.
The Site Plan Review Committee meets on Tuesdays at 1:00 pm and requires filing at the Building Division office. Applications must be submitted by no later than noon on Friday in order to be placed on the agenda one week from the following Tuesday.
